Dr. Daniel Amen has proven himself an incredibly accomplished and successful man—utilizing his knowledge to become a versatile leader in the psychiatric field. As a physician, psychiatrist, bestselling author, brain imaging specialist, Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and the CEO and medical director of Amen Clinics, Inc (ACI), Dr. Amen is a pioneer world leader daily putting brain power back in the hands of patients across the globe.

As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, Dr. Amen spreads his knowledge to medical students and psychiatric residents. His high school course, Making a Good Brain Great on “practical brain science health education” is now in 34 states and 7 countries.

Dr. Amen speaks for various esteemed organizations such as the National Security Association (NSA), National Science Foundation (NSF), the Supreme Courts of Delaware, Ohio, and Wyoming and others, and also performs requested presentations all over the country. Dr. Daniel Amen is a prominent author, showcasing his research and knowledge by writing and producing two recent shows for public television, including “The Truth About Drinking,” which received an Emmy Award for the Best Educational Television Show. His writing collection includes 35 professional articles, 4 book chapters, and 22 books.
